About the Guild

The Guild was formed in 1999 by a group of Artists and Craft Workers in South Yorkshire with one basic aim:  To promote genuine quality hand made arts and crafts made by local artists and crafts workers.

We are a non profit making group with the majority of the membership based in South Yorkshire, and surrounding areas.

We aim to provide genuine craft fairs at reasonable table prices for artists/craft workers to promote and sell their own hand made works.

Only Guild members can exhibit at Guild events.

Prospective members may be invited to attend an initial event as part of the assessment for formal membership acceptance.

Only products handmade by the member can be sold at guild events.

All members MUST have Public Liability Insurance

All members MUST accept the Guild Health and Safety Policy

Any item bought in for direct resale is not permitted, you will be told to remove any such items from display and your membership may be cancelled.

The Guild is run on a voluntary basis by a Committee elected by the Annual General Meeting. Any member can attend Committee

meetings and volunteer to help in the organising and running of events.

We share information about other non-Guild events through our newsletter and also help with fairs for local charities and schools.
