These ornaments are made from concrete which is poured into a mould and left to set. The setting takes 1 day in summer and 2-3 days in colder weather. When the ornaments are set, they are carefully removed from the moulds and left to dry for a few days. The drying time also depends on the weather conditions. Once dry they are painted with 1 or 2 coats of undercoat and finally hand painted with the colours relevant to the particular ornament. The paints used are masonry and acrylic to guarantee a long life. The ornaments range from large and small animals, bird baths, windmills.
